Bookkeeper/Staff Accountant

Roundstone is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/Staff accountant, preferably with insurance/reinsurance experience, to assist the Accounting Department with our fast-growing captive management service operations.

Responsibilities:

  • -Process and record premium remittances, claims activity and adjusting entries in Quickbooks and ESL.
  • -Identify, record, reconcile and maintain records relative to premium receipts for 500+ customers.
  • -Communicate with and resolve premium discrepancies with external business partners.
  • -Assist in the processing of claim payments to external business partners
  • -Assist in the preparation of routine and ad-hoc analysis and reports for senior management

Digital Content Marketing Specialist



Description

We are looking for a creative, energetic, and passionate Content and Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing department. The ideal candidate will possess not only excellent written communication skills but have experience in maximizing Pardot or similar marketing automation system’s capabilities to generate more sales leads as well as be up-to-date with current social media strategies and SEO/SEM best practices.  This individual will be responsible for coordination, creation and execution of marketing content for use across all digital channels, including website, social media and email. Execute day-to-day and forward-looking content marketing initiatives which may include: research, writing, editing, website content optimization, marketing communications and copy for digital advertising. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will play a pivotal role in aligning Roundstone’s marketing strategies with technology solutions.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • -Translate business goals into digital marketing initiatives.
  • -Partner with marketing team to develop specific digital strategies and identify requirements for creative assignments, including: email, banner ads, landing pages/microsites, mobile sites/apps and website development.
  • -Manage all digital campaigns, including search engine marketing (Google Adwords and onsite search).
  • -Collaborate with sales and marketing team to evaluate customer segments and create customer segmentation for target marketing based on customer profiling.
  • -Consolidate metrics and provide ongoing reporting and analytics to senior level management, deliver guidance for program optimization.
  • -Continually monitor and suggest improvements for the usability, content and conversion points of the company website to support the company’s new business objectives.
  • -Assist with writing original copy and editing content for a range of marketing and communication materials, i.e., website, newsletters, email campaigns.
  • -Maintain strong online company voice through social media.



QUALIFICATIONS:

  • -Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • -3-5 years’ experience in Content Marketing or Channel Marketing.
  • -Solid knowledge of Pardot or equivalent marketing automation platform.
  • -Familiarity with web design and content management systems, specifically WordPress.
  • -Proven competency with social media, email marketing strategy, website strategy development, and web analytics.
  • -Ability to take high-level vision and translate to executable actions
  • -Ability to work independently once strategy and direction is identified.
  • -Strong verbal and written skills are required.

Underwriter

  • Our Stop Loss program continues to grow with the changes in the health insurance market. We are looking for an underwriter to develop rates and terms for new and renewal business. As a Stop Loss Underwriter, you will apply our underwriting guidelines and pricing methodologies to the claims experience and manual creditability factors for each prospect. You will also review plan designs and network discounts to advise prospective customers about the affect those have on pricing.This position offers the opportunity to be a part of a dynamic underwriting team. You will play a key role in refining procedures, coordinating special projects, and working with all aspects of our stop loss product.

    Education and Experience:
    • -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Actuarial, Accounting, Finance or related field.
    • -5+ years of relevant medical stop loss experience.
    • -Experience with the ESL policy administration system preferred.
    • -Experience evaluating network discounts preferred.

Regional Sales Leader

Roundstone is currently seeking a motivated insurance professional for the role of Regional Sales Leader in Lakewood, OH. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 3-5 years of insurance industry experience working for an Insurance Company, Wholesaler or Managing General Agent or Underwriter along with a previous history of earning at least $100,000 annually. This individual will look to capitalize on the rapid changes occurring in the healthcare industry.


Responsibilities of the Regional Sales Leader

  • -Responsible for developing long-term relationships with new and underutilized health benefit advisors and brokers via phone calls, personal visits and trade show attendance.
  • -Build and service multiple retail agencies.
  • -Collaborate with underwriting to provide, deliver and close on quotes to agents and employer groups.
  • -Accountable for activity metrics, submission goals and performance against sales targets while providing exceptional customer service.
  • -Contribute to marketing efforts by reporting on industry trends, competition, and general market conditions.
